  1. I didn't know much about Warhol before this presentation but after it i feel i know a bit more about him. I like how you guys presented many pictures of his artwork to reference it. I didn't know he was the one who did the Marilyn Monroe image. One thing i would do differently is use less words on slides.

  2. I liked how you had many different pictures of his art in your presentation and analyzed each of his paintings like the theories behind the Marilyn Monroe painting. I also thought it was interesting that the largest museum dedicated to an artist is dedicated to him. My only criticism is that you guys read from your notecards and directly from the slides a lot.

  3. I really learned a lot about Andy Warhol from your presentation. I liked the pictures you chose. They really added to your presentation and I could tell how different Warhol's works were from the rest of his time.
I thought one think you could improve on is there were a lot of words to follow on the slides and you were kind of quiet. Next time just be more confident!

  4. I really enjoyed this presentation since it was about an artist. Your power-point looked very appealing, I liked how all the colors and all your information blended and went together well. You both were just a little on the quiet side, but you should have been louder, because you were giving a great presentation!

  5. I enjoyed this presentation because you guys even gave your reasoning on what you thought the picture meant. You didn't just put it up there and expect everyone to get it. I also think it really helped you presentation since you compared a lot of other artists with him to give us a way to see how art was around that time and how innovative he was. I just think that you could opened up a little better. I didn't get that thesis that caught my attention right away.

  6. The one thing I thought you guys did best was use markers in your presentation that clearly stated when you were changing points. "Andy Warhol is important because: ..." clearly allowed us to know what your point was so you could go more in depth and explain your thesis.

Really my only criticism is that you read off of your notecard a lot and at some points did not seem very prepared. I think if you guys practiced together more it could have helped.

  7. I love how at the start of the presentation you introduced your subject by showing us something iconic everyone can relate to, being the Campbell's soup can. As a public speaker, you should control the room and grab everyone's attention by appearing flamboyant and passionate, but the presentation was more lecture based and off note cards rather than passion

  8. I thought you were very strong when you first started your presentation. I loved how you went in depth about the previous art movement before the pop art movement and how it lead him to create these paintings that people could enjoy for what it was and not have to sit and try to interpret them. I also found it interesting that he worked in advertising before making this art, which explains why most of his work had major elements of mass culture. I also that it was important to mention that he never verified the interpretations of his art. This leads me to believe that he thought his work could stand alone and he wanted people to interpret it themselves, not have him tell the world what it is supposed to mean. I thought all the evidence you presented was great and really helped you get your point across. There was a lot of looking down at notecards, which wasn't as engaging and I thought you guys could've spoken up a little more. Overall, you got your point across effectively, you just needed a bit of polish and don't be afraid to speak up!

  9. I think you guys did really well with your research and your various interpretations of artwork and his influence. I liked how you also added that he gives the mystery of if his paintings were supposed to have meaning or not. One thing that could've been better was speaking louder.

  10. i like how many pictures of his art you guys put up, and how you guys showed other sides of Andy Warhol not just as an artist but his life before, like how he worked with advertisement. It was very hard to hear at times i thought you could've done a better job of speaking up.

  11. I really liked how you showed a lot of his different art pieces. You guys also knew a lot about your topic which made it easy to follow and listen to. One thing I learned is he has an art museum in Pittsburg and that it is the largest in the U.S.. One thing I think you could have done differently is speak a little louder because it was hard to hear sometimes.

  12. I never knew Andy Warhol was such a strange man. Great research and examples of his work. I liked how you explained what the art world was like before his influence. I found it difficult to follow at some points in the presentation, you could have been more clear. Also there was not a clear comparison. Well done overall.

  13. Andy Warhol was not an artist I was aware of as this iconic. This presentation really opened up my eyes on other artist out there, and I am happy to say I learned something. Warhol has the biggest single museum in the world in Pittsburgh.

I feel like you should have tried to analyze the fact that Andy Worhol wanted his artwork to speak for itself and maybe that is why he didn't want to explain his work to other people.

  14. I really enjoyed your presentation about Andy Warhol. One thing that I enjoyed about your presentation was the fact that Andy Warhol is an icon and you both really went in to detail about what he did. One aspect I think that you guys could have done was speak a little louder and sound more confident about what you are talking about.
