  1. 1.)The specification slide was very interesting. I didnt know it costed so much. I also didnt know apple had so many failures.
2.)Emphasize more on why it failed.

  2. The powerpoint was well put together with not putting to much information on it.
The speaking could use some improvement by making better eye contact and had a slight stutter.

  3. I think the strongest part of the presentation was the conclusion. It summed everything up very nicely and clearly showed the significance of the Apple II.

One thing they could have worked on was elaborating on some of the technical terms for people who aren't very familiar with technology so they unnerstood what was being talked about.

  5. 1) very factual and i thought the information seemed very pinpointed and accurate
2)I would have liked to seen a more contingent effort as to how apple II changed the game and how its appearance made the world different

  6. Pros: You both knew your material very well and Alan was a great speaker, it seemed like he could say whatever came to mind and it flowed well

The presentation was just a little quiet and hard to hear at times.

  7. I liked how you really explained more than what was on your slide. The pictures really added to your presentation and I liked the key you had on your slide to match the pictures to the different apple models. I loved your end point to show how far Apple has come, that we started with the Apple 2 and now we have a computer in our pocket. One thing you could improve on is projecting your voice and being more confident when your speaking :)

  9. I think you guys did a great job of using images and explaining what the object was and what it was capable of doing. You sounded well rehearsed, it sounded like you knew what you were really talking about. One thing I think you could have done differently is explain more about the Apple III, Apple Lisa, and Lisa II. Also you could have added in about why those products didn't last. I know at the end after you guys presented, you added about how Steve didn't treat his workers well, you could've added that somewhere into your presentation. I learned how much the Apple II could actually do and how big it really was.

  10. I think it was interesting how you compared the Apple II to the other products from Apple and how they didn't live up to the standards.
I think it would have been helpful to see the competitors and how long it took for companies to catch up to the superior design.

  11. 1) i think the best part of your presentation is that you both knew every bit of information very well
    2) i think you should have done a little better of a job of showing how much apple 2 changed the world of technology.

  12. I really learned a lot from this presentation and I learned a lot more about computers from that time. I think that there could of been less use from notecards and reading off of the slides though.

  13. You guys did a great job with describing the history and the evolution of the computers. I learned that it was the first mass produced computers and I though that was a good fact. I thought it was also very interesting when you guys were talking about how it all started and how it was more innovative than the ones at that time. Something that I think could have been better was the comparison. It would have been better if it was more clear and had a more thorough explanation behind it.

  14. Great points: Really showing all of the different failures that happened after the Apple 2 so that its success was really highlighted. Also showing how back then the company wanted you to be able to customize the product, and now they are very against wanting you to change anything about the product.
Constructive: Really needed to see what was going on before the Apple 2 to also help show what a drastic change was made.

  15. 1. It was great learning about some of the first computers to see how far technology has come. I have always used computers but i have never learned how they actually work so that was really interesting to me.

    2. I would have liked to learn more about how the progression of the computer industry worked instead of just learning about certain prototypes and their failures.

  16. I really enjoyed learning about the start of modern computers. You guys did a great job getting the information out about the design and cost of it at the time. The one thing I think you could of done better is maybe compared it to Microsoft or something that they were doing at the time to show just how revolutionary it was.

  17. 1) What I found interesting about the computers was that it was $1,300 and that is very similar to what a new apple laptop would cost. I found this interesting because many times items prices inflate and in this case it did not.
    2) I think to improve your presentation you could've added a video showing how the computer worked and how to use it. Maybe an instructional video?

  18. I thought you had some interesting pictures and thought it was cool to hear about some of the first computers and how you described how Steve Bosniak is kind of in the shadows of Steve Jobs but is just as important.
I thought your comparisons could have been a little more clear and maybe include advantages and disadvantages of each of the computers you compared the Apple II to instead of just listing the disadvantages of the compared computers and only advantages of the Apple II.

  19. What I found interesting was that Steve Bosniak was overshadowed by Steve Jobs but he was just as important as Steve Jobs.
Something that I thought that you could have added to make your presentation better was to talk about the actual sales of the Apple II to explain how it was so successful.

  21. 1) The presentation of statistics on the Apple II computer was a great way to start the presentation. The reasons why the Apple II was so iconic were conveyed very clearly. From your presentation I learned that the Apple II was the first portable, affordable, customizable computer. I also learned that the Apple II allowed customers to consider, for the first time, what they wanted in a computer versus just dealing with what was already available.
    2) The presentation could have been improved with more information. Overall, the presentation was lacking substance. More information on the world of computers before the Apple II came on to the market, for example, would have conveyed the Apple II’s relevance and status as an icon even better.

  22. Overall I thought you guys had a very strong presentation. I thought the in depth background information you presented was very good. I learned a lot of information that I didn't already know. I thought that it was interesting that the Apple 2 was customizable and that was what people liked about it and now they don't want people customizing their computers. My critic of your presentation is the lack of history on computers. We understand that the Apple 2 lead to what current computers do but what were computers like before the Apple 2? Other than that I thought the presentation and information was good.
