  1. I think it was very entertaining to learn about how teddy was so brave and really a "mans man". I wish there were more politicians like him today after watching your presentation. I didn't know the teddy bear was made in inspiration of teddy roosevelt. One thing i think you could've done is to put more statistics or hard to remember things on your note card to access it quicker. Besides that great job!

  2. I really enjoyed your presentation about Teddy Roosevelt. I thought it was interesting to hear why the teddy bear was named after him. I thought you presented several good facts but you didn't really provide much analysis or explained why he really is iconic.

  3. I really liked this presentation because a lot people our age have try to make the argument that Obama is the only president who has ever given thought to the environment. Your presentation clearly made the points of everything Teddy Roosevelt did for the environment and you even included what FDR did for the environment also which I appreciated. The comparison you did between the two presidents was awesome.
I think one thing you could have improved on is less words on the slides. It was kind of hard to follow.

  4. I enjoyed this presentation a lot because Teddy Roosevelt always seemed peculiar to me. I like how enthusiastic and into the presentation you both were, maybe next time just try to say "uh" and "like" less.

  5. I thought this was an excellent presentation. It was clear that you guys knew the information very well and hardly had to use notecards. Also, the content was very interesting. i had no idea Teddy Roosevelt was so into wildlife and nature or how he got his nickname "Teddy."

The only thing I think you could improve on is maybe cearly stating the thesis in the beginning of the presentation - outlining why he is iconic before you even go into detail. The thesis was clearly stated in the conclusion, but not the introduction.

  6. 1) I thought your presentation had a high enjoyment factor. Teddy Roosevelt is a historical figure with a lot of entertaining stories associated with him, and you guys did a great job incorporating some of these stories in with your presentation (for example, the story behind how teddy bears got their name). These stories added to the presentation and generated interest Roosevelt, which is great.

    2) The Battle of San Juan Hill, while both relevant and interesting, could have been introduced better. It might have been less jarring of a transition if you prefaced it with a bit of context. What war it was a part of, for example, would have added much needed background information to the story.

  7. I think you both did a great job with illustrating short and choppy points. Tremendous job on loading the presentation with fun facts and I thought the conclusion was brought up beautifully. Knowing the significance of the Battle of San Juan Hill, i thought this was huge for his long term legacy and i would have liked to see that expanded more. Great job!

  8. I really enjoyed watching your presentation. I felt that you guys really enjoyed doing this project, which made watching it so much more enjoyable. I thought you did a great job with providing the background information without going overboard. I like the you went into the story of the "teddy" bear because that is probably one of the first things people think of when they think of Teddy Roosevelt. I also thought the video you had shown was great. At the end you started to read off of your notes cards, but thats nothing that a little polishing can't handle.

  9. I think you guys did a great job with finding a relevant video and having clear main points throughout your presentation. I did not know anything about him other than his presidency. One thing that could have been improved was your transitions between slides and topics. Other than that you guys did a great job!

  10. Something that I really liked about your presentation was very well put together and that you knew a lot about Teddy Roosevelt and you were very clear about what your points were. You had very good eye contact and knew what you were talking about. Something that I found really interesting in your presentation was how Theodore Roosevelt became Teddy Roosevelt. I also thought it was pretty amazing how he got shot during his speech and then went and talked for another ninety minutes, before he went to the hospital. One thing that could have made your presentation better is if you were to put the harder and longer facts on your note card and to not say when you forgot tp write something down or when you forgot something.

  11. i enjoyed this presentation, i loved the comparison between FDR and Teddy Roosevelt. i always believed they were closer relatives than 5th cousins. i also really enjoyed the interesting fact that the teddy bear was named after him, i never would have guessed that. I thought the slides were a little unorganized and hard to follow them while listening to you guys talk. But great job!

  12. I think you guys did an excellent job on presenting your project. I learned many new things. One thing that I enjoyed was how much you explained your topic. Out of the many things I learned, the thing that I thought was most interesting was how he continued to give his speech for 90 minutes after he was shot. One thing that I think you could have done differently is memorizing your long facts better so you didn't have to read so much off the card.

  13. Great job, I liked how clear and factual your presentation was. I never knew about his influence in the Battle of San Juan Hill. I liked the comparison to FDR, and was surprised how similar they were. I felt like the presentation could have been smoother, you stumbled through some parts.

  14. The presentation took advantage of the best elements of Teddy Roosevelt's life and used them to outline his life. This was an excellent way of representing Teddy as he truly was the man the stories made him out to be.

The presentation did not have a good comparison I feel though. I know that FDR was a good choice to show similarities, but to show a different person would have been better to show why Teddy was so successful.

  15. I really enjoyed your presentation about teddy roosevelt. One thing I thought that you guys did well was you were very enthusiastic about his life and you both really seemed like you knew you were talking about. One thing I think you guys could have done better was to relate Teddy Roosevelt to what he really has meant to America and what he did to shape America.
