  1. I learned alot about the super bowl which i had never known before.
It appeared the group was just reading off of the screen and not using the note cards.

  2. 1.)The statistics really got my attention. I didnt know so many people missed work on the next day and also didnt know the actual cost of the commercials.
2.)Only thing i would criticize is that i prefer twix over snickers. This presentation was spot on.

  3. The PowerPoint supplemented the presentation very well. Including graphs and statistics showed how important the Super Bowl is in today's culture. It didn't have a lot of writing, so they couldn't read off of it and they knew the information very well.

They could have went more in depth on the significance of the Super Bowl and how it's iconic

  4. 1) The overall interest that the two of you showed in the topic helped make it even more knowledgeable. I enjoyed how you incorporated examples and explanations throughout the presentation and the topic was well covered.

    2) An idea to take note of in the future is to provide the same amount of detail that you did in some of slides all throughout the presentation. It was well done with the info that you had, but it seemed like some of the slides were lacking in facts or statistics

  5. 1) Interesting facts mad the presentation more dynamic and i learned a lot and made me think about things i never thought about ex. National Holiday
    2) Conclusion didn't define the intended message, i didn't like the "greedy pigs" statement as to why the event is so iconic

  6. The powerpoint flowed with your topic and the things you were saying very well. You both knew your info and were calm, cool and collect, which helped me pay attention more to what you were saying.

There could have been more on how the Super Bowl first started and came to be.

  7. I liked how you played a commercial at the very start, it was a really good attention grabber. I also enjoyed how you added your own opinion to your presentation, it gave your power point life.

For improvement, I think you could have been more confident, you knew what you were talking about you just had to project your voice more :)

  8. Great points: I learned a lot more about the super bowl than I knew before, I didn't know just how much all of the commercials cost or that they don't pay the performers.
Constructive: I didn't really get why it was iconic, I just learned that it costs a lot.

  9. I think you had a great use of pictures and I liked that you brought in numbers and statistics into your presentation. I never knew that a ticket for the Super Bowl could cost so much. I think you could've changed the font size and color font on the Commercials slide. The blue lettering and size of the font was a little hard to see.

  10. 1. I am a huge fan of football and i think you did a great job on describing how iconic this event really is. You did a good job of talking about all aspects of it, not just how it is a big football game that people love.

    2. The only thing missing was a little history on how it started and the progression of the event over time.

  11. I liked how you compared it to a National Holiday and showed that there are huge nationwide trends caused by the Super Bowl.
I think that there were a lot of good statistics but there were times when the numbers got a little confusing

  12. The super bowl is a very waited on event in my life and i know it also is in a lot of other people's lives. I think the commercial opened it up well and really made me relax and want to listen. I also thought that the national holiday thing was very interesting because i had never heard of that. I would be up for it though. I really think the only thing that would have helped a lot would be having more knowledge of the past and know when it started and how it became iconic.

  13. I think you guys did great with your statistics and your explanation of statistics. I didn't know that they were actually trying to make the Monday after superbowl sunday a holdiay so that was definitely interesting. One thing that you guys could have done better with is making eye contact with the audience and having a better conclusion.

  14. 1) Your presentation was very intriguing because of the Super Bowl being considered a national holiday. I really liked how you added in your own thoughts and made the presentation your own.
    2) I think what could have made the presentation better would have been to add why americans view the Super Bowl as such a national holiday and maybe go in to more detail of what it means to you.

  15. I really liked the statistics you guys used as well as when you discussed it being considered a national holiday. I also thought the commercial was entertaining.
But i think you could've talked more about the history of the Superbowl and the Superbowl itself rather than focusing largely on the commercials which seemed to be a large part of the presentation.

  16. You guys had good facts throughout the whole presontation that helped back up your points. The slides were well put together. For critisims, you started to ramble on and repeat a few things and i didn't see a comparison.

  17. 1) Your slides were very visually appealing. The black background with white text (although warned against by Chapter 21 in The Call To Write) was readable in the room and was aesthetically pleasing. The title slide was also very engaging. The visual appeal of the slides goes a long way in keeping the audience’s attention during a presentation, and your presentation did this very well. One thing I learned from your presentation is that 55% of the tickets for the Super Bowl go to corporate sponsors and media. I knew that some tickets had to be given out to sponsors, but I had no idea the number was anywhere near this high. This statistic is definitely going to be on my mind when I see the audience during the Super Bowl on TV.
    2) One thing that could have been made better was the visibility on the graphs. I was farther back in the room and I couldn’t read the labels on the graphs at all. This could have been fixed by making the text or graphs bigger or possibly by making the text darker.

  18. The thing that I loved most about your presentation was the title slide, it caught my attention and it made me want to pay attention to the rest of the presentation. I really liked how you used the statistics, I never knew that many people did not go to work the Monday after the Superbowl, I also did not know that the tickets costs so much. Something that I thought that you could have done better was to talk about the actual Superbowl and how it became to be and when it started.
    Overall Fantastic presentation

  19. I learned a lot of facts about the Superbowl, mainly how much money is invested into it. Such as the fact that the teams have to donate about 30% of the 75% they earn for playing in the Superbowl. I thought that was interesting, yet devastating to the players.

I did not, however, think the presentation had a centralized point that it was trying to achieve. I thought that the presentation was about how the Superbowl was iconic, yet Chas stated it was about how corporate greed has taken the Superbowl over.
